Tomasz Jakub Opalka was born in 1983. He played percussion, piano and trombone. Actualy he is studying Composition at Fryderyk Chopin's University of Music with Krzysztof Baculewski. Opalka is winner of several prizes in national and international competitions for composers. His music was perfrmed at many concerts and festivals, eg: Generations, UFM, SaintCross Music Days, Art&Computers, and others. He has worked with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including: Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra - Lukasz Borowicz, Wojciech Michniewski, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra - Daniel Gazon, Unplugged Orchestra - Michal Smigielski, AMFC Symphony Orchestra - Kazimierz Dabrowski, and others. He writes symphonic, chamber, electroacoustic and film music. |
